The easiest aim to find is definitely Aim 1, which is pleasure. Every single song I have listed is about sex. I think that this is the most prevalent aim, because, at least here in America, we tend to equate pleasure with happiness. I was recently reading some philosophy by Aristotle (for a class, not because I had any interest in it. Most of it was way above my head, to be honest), and he was saying how happiness is the only thing that we pursue, purely for itself. But, I feel like we have come to equate pleasure with happiness, though the two are distinctly separate entities.
I was surprised by how easy it was to find songs about sex. I knew that they were all out there, I just didn't realize how much the music I listen to is based purely on the pursuit of pleasure.
The American portrayal of such things, is that pleasure is the end-all, be-all; what you really look for in life. Hinduism, I think, has it right in that pleasure is at the beginning of the stages of growth, not what you spend your life trying to achieve.
